MEET OUR STAFF
Martin Upham, a political historian, has been the London Centre site director for three years and resident of London for thirty years. He accompanies AHA students on excursions around the London’s inexhaustible cultural resources, performance possibilities, and mind-expanding art collections. He has two university-age daughters and now sings, cycles, swims, and drinks English beer.


Leah Wells is the Study Abroad Administrator for  the  London Centre. She manages day to day operations, including the coordination of program-related activities, updating the London website, and creating a weekly newsletter. With a degree in history and significant experience as a study abroad experience in Northern Ireland, Leah will be available to advise students on most aspects of their program throughout the teaching week at the center.

Maggie Kovacevic, our housing coordinator, is responsible for placing students in home stays. She remains in close contact with students throughout the term, ensuring that they transition smoothly to life in London and that their overall experience is a positive one.
