- Student Life: The General Students’ Committee (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss, or AStA) organizes several events throughout the semester, from student parties to on-campus summer and winter celebrations and the Frese Cup, a fun football tournament that takes place in a different city each semester. Working for the committee is an amazing way to promote student life at the university, students can contribute own ideas, and bring about changes in their everyday life.

Located in the beautiful nature of the Taunus, the region around the old Nassau residence city also offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. And those who are drawn to the big city can quickly reach the Rhine-Main area with the cities of Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Mainz.
