Time is running out...

Time is running out, but it's ok - I'm looking forward to going home. But I'm still going to get my money's worth in this last week and a half.

Time in Greece keeps slipping away - a week and a half, and I'm hopping back over the ocean!  I'll be ready to go, though - I have friends and family to see, and my girlfriend that I haven't seen for three months.  But I'm also trying to enjoy the time I have left here.  When I go home, I don't want to have any regrets, or feel like I missed out on an opportunity because I was too set on getting home.  And let's be honest here - there's a fair chance I'll never come back to Athens, so I figure I'd better soak it all in while I can.

The past week was pretty busy - I've been trying to get ahead on papers and final exam essays so that I'll have free time at the end to get my last kicks out of the city.  I also found some time to explore Athens on Friday and Saturday.  On Friday, I spent the day wandering through Athens on the metro to see what I could find.  I discovered some new parts of town, and ended up seeing the new James Bond movie that night.  The movie was interesting, but definitely not your average Bond movie.  But I digress.  On Saturaday I climbed into the hills with my roommate and his fiance, and got to see Athens from one of its highest points.  It was amazing, and I'll show you pictures as soon as I get them from my roommate.

And finally, preparations for our Thanksgiving potluck are underway, and it looks like it's going to be quite the feast.  More on that next week.

In the meantime, I'll be enjoying Greece for a few more days and soaking it all in.  Happy Thanksgiving!
