A brief introduction to your guide to the city of London

Welcome all, to Bryn Jansson's London blog. I am a 20-year old junior history major at the University of Oregon and have lived in the state of Oregon for all but two years of my life.

This is my second trip to Europe - four years ago I visited for three weeks in December and early January and really had a blast. I did visit London for a few days then as well as Paris, Germany and Sweden.

I have already been in Europe a month, having spent the month of August at the AHA program in Angers, France and am on my way through Italy and Greece before arriving in London. Angers was better than I hoped for, so here's to making London the same. If you are interested in reading about my month in Angers, I have a personal blog at bjansson.blogspot.com and the archives for July and August will have my posts about Angers.

I have been warned that London is possibly the most expensive city in the world, so it'll be interesting to see how well I can stay on budget. It'll also be the first time I'll have to take public transportation to school every day, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

Once again, welcome to London as brought to you by Bryn Jansson. I hope you'll join me as I experience the fall of 2006 in Britain's capital city.
